The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated notably by the Chinese and Vietnamese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 9th month of the Lunar Calendar with a full moon at night. This is around the time of mid September to early October for the Gregorian Calendar.

The festival celebrates the gathering of family and friends; giving thanks for the bountiful harvest and harmonious unions; praying for better things to come in life and the future.

In the spirit of gathering and thanksgiving, the brothers have volunteered to help the UIUC VSA run a successful mid-autumn festival. With food and entertainment all around, everyone sure had a good time.

Thank you to UIUC VSA for having us and we can’t wait until the next one!
